I've been using this for about a week now. There are some things I like about it and others I'm not so keen on. The good points: very lightweight iron and really quick and easy to change bits, heats up fast, big temperature display and simple to adjust temperature. Bad points: there's a motion sensor in the iron and if it doesn't keep moving then it turns itself off. This has happened a few times in the middle of soldering because obviously I was holding the iron too steadily. The default shut-down time is way too short but this can easily be increased. The opening for the iron in the stand is small. With my previous Weller stand which had a spring with a funnel opening I could put the iron back in its stand without really needing to look at it. With this one I have to look directly at it and guide it in slowly.
