Solder for electronics, electrical & industrial applications

We stock multiple alloy options, including industry-standard lead-free solder, most notably from our very own brand, R-TECH, suitable for regulated and production environments. For specialist applications, alternative compositions are also available to match thermal and mechanical requirements.

All products are selected for consistent flow performance, dependable wetting and compatibility with modern soldering equipment.

Solder wire & soldering wire in multiple diameters

Solder wire, also referred to as soldering wire, remains the most widely used format for manual assembly and repair. It provides precise control when working on PCBs, connectors, terminals and fine components.

Available in a range of diameters, our solder wire options allow you to match material volume to the size of the joint. Thinner gauges suit delicate electronics, while larger diameters are ideal for heavier conductors and higher thermal mass applications.

Many options include integrated flux cores, reducing the need for separate application and supporting cleaner, more efficient workflows.

Rosin, synthetic resin & rosin-free flux cores

Flux core chemistry directly impacts cleanliness and performance. Our solder selection includes traditional rosin-based cores, modern synthetic resin formulations and low-residue alternatives.

Rosin cores are widely used in electronics assembly for their reliable oxide removal and wetting characteristics. Synthetic resin options provide controlled activity levels with improved consistency. Where post-process cleaning must be minimised, rosin free variants offer reduced residue and easier inspection.

Selecting the right flux core helps improve joint appearance, reduce rework and maintain board reliability.

Solder paste for production & surface mount work

For surface mount assembly and reflow processes, solder paste provides accurate alloy deposition and repeatable results. Suitable for stencil printing and automated dispensing, solder paste supports scalable PCB manufacturing and prototyping environments.

Available in various alloy types, including lead free solder formulations, our range is designed for consistent particle distribution, stable storage performance and controlled reflow behaviour.

Pellets & alternative solder formats

In addition to solder wire, we supply alternative formats including pellets for controlled-volume industrial processes. These are often used where precise alloy measurement is required in automated or batch applications.

Offering multiple formats ensures compatibility across hand assembly, production lines and specialist manufacturing environments.
