Rapid has taken a significant leap into the world of industrial IoT technology by signing a major distribution partnership with
Siretta, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of wireless machine to machine (M2M) solutions.
Siretta’s products are widely used in automation and monitoring processes within a diverse range of industries, from transportation to energy, in applications such as flood monitoring, automatic meter reading, vending machines, parking and ticketing, remote alarm panels, passenger information systems, transport communications and fuel distribution.
Rapid will stock over 100 lines by the Berkshire-based company, including modems, signal strength analysers, RF antennas and environmental sensors.
2G/3G/4G Industrial Wireless quikCONNECT Modems – Zest/Zeta/Zoom/Zulu/Zeus Series

Rapid is introducing products from right across the range, from the entry level ZEST (GPRS connectivity) to the Ethernet-enabled ZEUS (4G coverage). For example, Siretta’s quikCONNECT modems can monitor the contents of vending machines or fuel distribution depots, alerting managers remotely to critical issues and reducing inefficiency in maintenance systems.
Snyper 2G/3G Signal Strength Analysers
Siretta’s Snyper family of signal strength analysers do exactly that: check for the presence and level of wireless cellular telephone signals in any location, and to provide a summary of the signal strength of all available mobile networks and cells. The various models in this family of devices add extra features to the Snyper’s core functionality, giving engineers and installers a vital tool to use in the field.
airCONNECT antennas – Alpha/Echo/Delta/Mike/Oscar/Tango Series
Antennas are the critical component in any RF system, and Siretta specialises in providing antennas in many different frequencies and mounting methods, covering GPRS, GPS, ISM, WiFi/Bluetooth, 2G, 3G and 4G networks.
Rapid will stock Siretta’s antennas in the following configurations: adhesive (Alpha series); embedded, PCB and cable mount (Echo); magnetic mount (Mike); wall mounting (Oscar); through-hole (Tango) and direct connect (Delta).
Temperature, humidity, light and flood sensors
Also included in Rapid’s Siretta range of products are a range of sensors – both Nagios-based PSU devices measuring
temperature, humidity, flood and light conditions, and wire-based temperature sensor probes.
