This LAPP SKINTOP® DV-M seal is placed into the sealing ring of the SKINTOP® cable gland. It's purpose is to prevent humidity from seeping into the gland housing, thus protecting unused connection points. When the seal is assembled professionally and properly, the protection class of IP 68 can be achieved.
