This Arduino-compatible shield has been designed as a tool to help users get familiar with GSM/GPRS communication using an Arduino board. The onboard M95 is a quad-band GSM/GPRS module with ultra low power consumption and an extended temperature range, making it a feature-rich platform suitable for use with a wide range of M2M applications such as VTS, industry PDA, personal tracking, wireless POS, smart metering, etc.
Connection to the Arduino board is simple and the shield comes with a 50Ω GSM antenna.
