Voltcraft SDC 2412-12 DC/DC Converter 166W 24VDC 13.8VDC

The Voltcraft SDC-2412-12 166W switched-mode DC/DC converter enables operation of 12V DC consumer items, such as cold bags, refrigerator boxes or cabinets and mobile HiFi units from a 24V DC battery supply system or other supply between 18 and 38V DC. The 24V DC supply is converted to 12V DC via a clocked IC-controlled circuit. This device is characterized by small dimensions and low weight compared with conventional in-line voltage transformers. The degree of efficiency is approx. 89%. Using a fanless design means the case is sealed against the ingress of dust. The device is protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, overloads, and surges.
