VOLTCRAFT SDC Voltage Switched Mode DC/DC Converter 13.8V DC Out

The VOLTCRAFT SDC switched-mode DC/DC converter enables operation of 12V DC consumer items, such as cold bags, refrigerator boxes or cabinets and mobile HiFi units from a 24V DC battery supply system or other supply between 18 and 38V DC. The 24V DC supply is converted to 12V DC via a clocked IC-controlled circuit. This device is characterized by small dimensions and low weight compared with conventional in-line voltage transformers. The degree of efficiency is >85%. The SDC-2000 converters use a fanless design which means the case is sealed against the ingress of dust, and they are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, overloads, and surges. The SDC-200 converters have an integrated fan and short circuit protection.
