Q. Can this packet (in its 500ml solution) be used cold to etch PCBs? will it work with the Economy Photo Etch Board 34-0176? Thanks
A. Hi Richard, thank you for your question. You can use it cold but it will take longer to etch.
A safe and stable Potassium carbonate-based universal developer powder that can last for up to 3 to 4 weeks in made-up form. The photo-resist developer can be used to develop printed circuit boards, including pre-coated, in a short space of time.
The developer solution contains no Sodium Hydroxide and is suitable for use with all alkaline-developed, positive photo-resists and fully aqueous dry-film photo resists.
25g of the photo-resist developer powder gives a working solution of 500ml to 1 litre.
