This serial LCD/clock module is a low-cost module that allows the PICAXE system to display messages on an alphanumeric display (16 x 2 display is included with the module). This allows programs to, for instance, show the scores from a game, or the reading from a temperature sensor.



Kit includes: Pre-populated PCB; 16x2 alphanumeric display; bag of 12 nuts, 4 bolts and 3 support headers.

Quite easy to assemble, serial interface very easy to use in PICAXE programming with the message memory being a great feature. This would have been nicer if you sold the serial driver board without the LCD because the included LCD isnt backlit and if you get a seperate backlit LCD display, the most expensive part of this package (the non-backlit LCD) goes to waste.
