A range of watertight polycarbonate (PC) wall mount enclosures from Hammond's 1557 series.

  • Available in black or grey
  • Material: polycarbonate, UL 508A approved
  • Flame resistance: UL94-5VA
  • Ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards
  • Can be used in a table top configuration or two different wall-mount configurations
  • Rounded corners and face provide a more modern look while still offering superior water-tight ratings
  • Recommended for indoor use
  • Gasketed lid with two piece 'tongue & groove' construction provides protection against ingress of oil, dust and water
  • Gasket is one piece made from high temperature, U.L. listed silicone
  • Designed to meet IP66
  • Lid is secured with included M4 stainless steel machine screws which thread into corrosion-resistant bushings for repetitive assembly & disassembly
  • Supplied complete with cover screws, rubber feet, wall mount feet and screws
  • All hardware is designed to avoid corrosion caused by harsh environments over time
  • UL listed
