With the 3M™ Cubitron™ II 969F fan disc, 3M adds a more robust version to its fan disc line, which scores with higher service life due to its optimised design at higher contact pressure and more critical surfaces (burrs). The characteristics of this fan disc are the higher packing density of the grinding plates combined with a resistant ladle base.The 3M precision-shaped ceramic grain contributes significantly to the performance of this disc. The grain tips of the triangular plate break during the grinding process and always remain sharp cutting edges. This ensures that the surface of the material is continuously processed cleanly. The result is a fast, cool sanding and an extended service life of the abrasive.
