Q. I'm a teacher. We have course materials that specify 4 band colour codes ( 3 for value and 1 for tolerance ) Are these resistors 4 or 5 band resistors ? Thanks, Pete

A. Hi Pete, thank you for your question. These are standard E27 4 colour band resistors, as you say first 3 bands for value and fourth for tolerance which is 5% (gold) for this range.

Q. I need to run 3 No 5mm LEDS in series Vf Max for the LEDS is 2.8 power supply is 9 volts the resistor should be 120 ohmn? is that correct and what does that mean in watts??
