Q. Please confirm, these are **mono** with 2 switched contacts that break when the jack is inserted. If not then suggestions for same please please? TIA
A. Hi Tony. Than you for your question. The socket 20-1390 is a mono 6.35mm jack socket with two normally closed switched contacts that both open once a plug is inserted.

I bought some of these 2 pole jack sockets. They do the job fine and are the cheapest for sale here.
