Specification explanation: The "skin-effect", also known as current displacement, is a physical phenomenon caused by high-frequency alternating currents. The current density inside the conductor reduces compared to that at the outer surface as the frequency increases. The inner cross-section area of a conductor through which high-frequency alternating current is flowing practically does not do any transmission function. The network cable - CCA is thus a really economical and weight-reduced alternative to the conventional full-copper line and this at equivalent power and transmission characteristcs.
