The three instruments in the Testo 770 clamp meter family are ideally suited for current measurement in switching cabinets. A unique feature of these meters is that one of the two pincer arms can be fully retracted into the instrument, allowing individual cables to be easily selected. All three instruments detect direct and alternating current, and automatically select other parameters such as resistance, continuity, diode and capacitance.

The Testo 770-1 model is the standard model for daily measuring tasks, including starting current measurement. The Testo 770-2 has a μA range as well as an integrated temperature adapter for all type K thermocouples. In addition, the Testo 770-3 includes real-time power measurements (Watts), Power Factor, and Bluetooth connectivity to the free Testo Smart Probes App which can be used for remote viewing, monitoring, data logging, and creating reports.
