This 2.5in SATA/SAS to 3.5in SATA hard drive converter enclosure from StarTech.com lets you put a 2.5in drive into a 3.5in SATA hard drive bay. It is compatible with SATA or SAS hard drives (HDD) or solid state drives (SSD). You can fit one of these drives into a 3.5in bay, drive drawer caddy/tray or into a 3.5in drive enclosure. SATA III is supported for maximum throughput (6Gbps) with compatible controllers.
Compatible with drives up to 15mm high, the enclosure has side and end mounting holes if you intend to mount it in a PC drive bay or similar application. It features a trayless design for easy installation and removal of drives and good airflow to help keep hard drives cool.
