Q. 1 Does this unit produce a true sine wave or stepped output? 2 What is the switching frequency?

A. Hi Hamish, thanks for your questions. The unit produces a MODIFIED SINEWAVE which in practice looks similar to a square wave. The output frequency is 50Hz.
