Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 Sensor Assemblies

The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 Sensor Assemblies offer the same IMX708 12-megapixel sensor with high-dynamic-range (HDR) support, and the same Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) functionality as the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 AF (autofocus). They are designed to enable you to integrate the features of Camera Module 3 into a wide range of form factors and device designs.

The Camera Module 3 Sensor Assemblies can be used for full HD video as well as stills photographs, and provide a natural path to scale for customers who have prototyped with Camera Module 3. Their operation is fully supported by the libcamera library. A library of software commands allow you to have total control of what you focus on and how you do it.

These sensor assemblies provide a low-cost way to add imaging capability to smaller devices, for smoother manufacturing processes and faster time to market.
