Proxxon PD400 Engineering Lathe System

The Proxxon PD 400 lathe is unequalled in its class and offers both precision and versatility.

It has a 3-jaw chuck, live centre and thread cutting capability. It is ideal for straight and cross cuts, taper turning, internal and external thread cutting, slotting, etc. and is usable on materials such as steel, non-ferrous metals (aluminium, brass etc.).

The sturdy frame with ground and hardened, ribbed construction makes for high precision and stability and produces negligible variances even under heavy loads.

A wide range of accessories complements the lathe's functions. The bed is equipped with a milled surface for securing mill/drill head PF 400.
