These SKEDD direct plug-in technology PCB connectors from Phoenix Contact have spring-loaded contacts that connect directly to the through-plated holes in the PCB without soldering. The advantage is that there is no need for an additional header or soldering, so your component and process costs are reduced.

The connectors mount easily on the PCB without tools or solder and lock into place with built-in mounting rivets to form a vibration-resistant connection. The connectors can be easily removed, making them ideal for use as test plugs.

The SDC 2,5 series connectors are suitable for conductor cross-sections from 0.2 to 2.5mm². They can handle currents up to 12A and voltages up to 320V (IEC). The connectors have a pitch of 5.0mm and are available with up to 16 ways.
