Mini-Fit Power Connectors and Crimp Contacts

The series of mini-fit connectors are an industry compatible line of plug and cap power connections. They are interchangeable, intermateable and intermountable with industry standard products. This allows for greater flexibility in mating with existing wire harnesses, connectors or PCB headers. The connectors are recognised by UL and are the perfect choice when you need compact connectors that carry up to 9A of current.

The housings are designed for both male and female terminals. Additionally the housings will accept industry compatible terminals. These products are appropriate for both power and signal uses and have been designed for high-density applications which require press-fit headers.

An additional requirement for these Micro-Fit connectors are the crimp contacts. The contacts have been designed to be used to terminate to cables in sensitive areas where the use of solder joints are not permitted, for example in certain restricted aerospace applications.

The crimp male power contacts can accommodate cable sizes of between 18AWG to 24AWG with current ratings up to 5A, depending on wire size. The contacts facilitate simple, fast and secure termination to cables, and are fully interchangeable with solder contacts.
