LAPP NAYY-J Earthed Wire Black Sheath

A range of LAPP NYY-J Earthed Wire that can be buried without any additional underground protection. This robust cable is used as a control cable and can be laid fixed indoors, outdoors, in the ground, in concrete and in water. The conductors of the cable have been manufactured from circular solid aluminium wire, with a core insulation and sheath based on PVC. A filling compound covers the sheath of the core assembly.

Applications include power plants industrial and switching installations and in distribution networks. These cables are preferentially used in outdoor applications where mechanical damage to the cable is not anticipated.

  • Temperature range during installation: 5°C up to + 50°C: After installation: -40°C up to + 70°C
  • Flame retardant in acc. to IEC 60 332.1
  • EC directive; this cable confirms to ECD 73/23/EEC (low voltage directive)
This cable will be supplied in one continuous length. For example, an order for 7 metres of cable will result in a single 7-metre cable being supplied, not 7 one-metre lengths.
