The FLIR T912339 Si2‑LD, is an advanced industrial acoustic imaging camera designed for both pressurised leak detection and mechanical fault detection such as bearings. It uses a large MEMS microphone array to visualise ultrasonic and audible frequencies and overlays them onto a digital image to precisely locate leaks or faults, even at long distances.
The devices primary functions are to detect, locate, and measure compressed air & industrial gas leaks up to 200m (656ft), identify mechanical issues such as bearing faults using dedicated MECH mode and to perform on‑device leak quantification and cost analysis for multiple gases.
Leak Detection & Gas Quantification
Detects compressed air and industrial gas leaks from up to 200 m (656 ft) away.
Supports gas analysis for: compressed air, hydrogen, CO₂, methane, natural gas, helium, argon, and ammonia.
Built‑in leak size & annual cost estimation.
Mechanical Fault Detection
Dedicated mechanical fault mode for detecting bearing wear and other mechanical issues.
Automatic selection and optimisation of filters for fault detection.
Acoustic Performance
Bandwidth: 2 kHz to 130 kHz.
Detection threshold: –7 dB (20 kHz), 4 dB (35 kHz), 10 dB (50 kHz), 36 dB (80 kHz), 51 dB (100 kHz).
Directional resolution: 1° to 0.125°.
Leak rate detection threshold: as low as 0.0032 L/min at 2.5 m.
