FLIR provides advanced sensing technologies, from thermal imaging to threat detection, that empower defense, industrial and commercial sectors to see more, do more and stay safer.
Explore our range of FLIR thermal imaging cameras and meters
Most faults give themselves away long before they fail. A loose termination runs warm, a tired bearing heats up, and damp patches show up cold behind the plaster. You can't see any of it with the naked eye, but a FLIR camera shows it in seconds, so you can fix the problem on your schedule rather than the fault's.
The E5 Pro is a good place to start with FLIR thermal imaging cameras. Its 160 x 120 detector covers –20°C to +550°C, and MSX adds the outlines from a built-in visual camera, so a hot spot in a crowded panel is easy to place. Point and tap on the 3.5" touchscreen, then send the images over Wi-Fi to FLIR Ignite and build the report back at the office rather than retyping notes from the van.
Spend most of your day at the distribution board? The CM276 clamp meter has a thermal imager built in, so you can scan a panel for the hottest connection first and then clamp it, up to 600A AC or DC. Its VFD mode filters out the noise from variable speed drives, which stops a perfectly healthy motor circuit from giving misleading readings, and it's rated CAT IV 600V for work at the supply end.
Not every job needs a full image. FLIR moisture meters help surveyors and facilities teams track down damp and leaks, IR thermometers give a quick spot reading from a safe distance, and sound meters take the guesswork out of noise-at-work checks.
Equipping a college or university lab? We supply FLIR cameras on education accounts, from a single unit to a whole department. Get in touch and we'll help you choose the right camera or meter for the job.
