Connectix Enhanced Category 5 Modules offer exceptional performance for high speed LANs including Gigabit Ethernet applications. Optimum transmission has been achieved by incorporating the highest quality components and innovative on-board compensation techniques. Installation is made easy with a clear, identifiable, colour coded PCB and the use of industry standard IDCs.

Enhanced Category 5 Modules can be fitted into single or dual gang faceplates and can be combined withquarter blanks and other modules to provide the required configuration.

Enhanced Category 5 Modules offer extended PowerSum characteristics and exceed the TIA/EIA-568-B specifications. When combined with enhanced Category 5 patch panels and UTP cable the link will perform well in excess of the enhanced Category 5 specification. Not suitable for use with Euro faceplates.
