A. Hi Joe, thanks for your question. All soldering iron tips are now lead free compatible. We would recommend the following solder: https://www.rapidonline.com/Rapid-lead-free-tin-copper-solder-72696.
Brought this along with a 1mm bit at the same time. Nice fit on the old 18w CS series I had. Bred some new life into iron. You may find the spring clip inside. Failing after a few time. Antex sell these in bags of 10 if required
