Q. Hi, Is this switch suitable to replace a mechanical switch in a wardrobe that switches on two 240v 3.5W LEDs when the door is opened?

A. Hi Chris, thank you for your question. The switch is able to carry 10 watts up to 1 Amp current max so would just be suitable for the mentioned application. Please see the data sheet.

Q. Hi, is 78-0775 waterproof and suitable for use outside?

A. Hi Joseph. Thank you for your question. This is not IP rated for use outdoors. However you could use some silicon sealant to ensure water does not enter it.
