Q. Hi, is 78-0775 waterproof and suitable for use outside?

A. Hi Joseph. Thank you for your question. This is not IP rated for use outdoors. However you could use some silicon sealant to ensure water does not enter it.

Q. I want the current to be broken when in proximity to the magnet. Does this product do this?

Q. Is 78-0780 both switch and magnet?

A. Thanks for your enquiry Duncan. This product is a proximity switch only and requires the matching magnet module to operate - 78-0785.
