The Basetech BT-200 is a Cable Tester for unshielded (UTP) or shielded (STP/FTP) RJ-45 modular plug systems up to CAT7, respectively RJ-11 (RJ-12) modular plug with 2 to 6 cores. Each core of the connected cable is individually tested and the allocation is shown on a clearly arranged bar graph display.

The test sequence is automatic. The allocation of the cores, respectively potential errors such as interruption and short circuit can be read directly.

In addition, the BNC coaxial cable can be tested for continuity, interruption and short circuit.
