Q. E-1 error atten st-60 tip heats up until the base unit beeps then show E-1 the tip cools until the next power on. any idea what the problem is? regards Mark

A. Hi Mark, thank you for your question. E-1 error code is either when the iron lead is damaged/not plugged into the station correctly (with the station off plug and unplug the iron several tines) this will ensure the connection is made, failing that the element in the iron may have failed. A replacement iron is available here if required.

A. Hi Tim thank you for your question. This is supplied with a 1.2mm tip (85-6936).
