The Ansmann ALCT 6-24/2 UK is a Lead Acid Battery Charger for 6V, 12V and 24V batteries. The 2A compact and lightweight charger is ideal for HGV's, cars, boats, motorcycles, scooters, wheeled garden equipment or children's vehicles.
The LED indicators of the charger clearly show the charge progress and lets you know when the battery is ready.
This high quality lead acid battery charger can be used for full recharging of batteries or for a gentle top-up during the winter, especially for motor bikes and vintage cars.
The charger has two modes:
COLD TEMPERATURE mode: At temperatures below 5 °C (41 °F) the battery will be fully charged to 100% despite the cold.
REFRESH mode: If the battery is completely discharged, the charger automatically switches to refresh mode and charges the battery for 20min. by pulse charging until a sufficient voltage for the normal charging process has been reached. After the completion of the refresh mode a normal charging process can be started.

A. Hi Mike, thank you for your question. The data sheet shows this as 1A +/- 10% at 24V.

Ansmann 1001-0016-UK battery charger
Unit was delivered promptly and fully meets our requirements for the application that the unit is used for. We were originally using an earlier model of the Ansmann battery charger which was no longer available, the replacement unit we ordered is smaller and more suitable for the application that we are using it with.
