Rapid Education donated a few of our partner's
Wonder Workshop Dash robots for the RAF Museum London's Pillows and Pilots sleepover for Brownies, Guides, and their Leaders. The evening includes challenges, activities, and a night of sleep under historic RAF monuments. We are delighted to be able to help with such a great evening that focuses on the British history of the RAF. Providing the Dash robots creates a brilliant contrast of history with the futuristic teachings of robotics.

Scouts, cubs, and brownies took control of a robot and raced it through the Hangar under the eye of iconic aircraft to see who could complete our robot obstacle course first. The first part of the challenge was to be the fastest and most careful driver, with the second part being how to create a sequence, and whose ever was the most creative won! The donation of Dash robots gave the exact result that we intended, to bring enjoyment yet generate understanding and creativity in robotics. Not only are the Dash robots used for events, but also day-to-day with visitors, and that makes it worthwhile for us.
