Tartan™ Adhesive tape 8954 is a standard filament adhesive tape with a backing material made of ScotchPro™ Polypropylene film and an adhesive made of synthetic rubber. The glass fibre reinforcement in the longitudinal and transverse direction significantly increases the tear resistance of the adhesive tape. The 3M™ Tartan™ Filament Adhesive Tape 8954 is a standard, longitudinal and cross-reinforced filament tape with a backing material made of ScotchPro™ Polypropylene film and an adhesive made of synthetic rubber. The longitudinal fibre reinforcement significantly increases the tear resistance of the adhesive tape. The adhesive tape is particularly suitable for sticking together heavy cardboard and as fuse and bundling adhesive tape. After bonding, the adhesive tape will remain functional at all temperatures that a package is normally exposed to during transport and storage. It is ideal for hazardous material transport packaging and is characterised by its high breaking load (1350 N / 100mm) and elongation at break (10). In addition, the belt has a high abrasion resistance and moisture resistance. Tape colour: Transparent.
