Rapid Electronics: So often ahead of the game!
To my mind Rapid Electronics is great for both amateurs and professional use where the quantities are low. I especially liked their range of PCB mount switches and four by seven segment displays. Its always worth checking their web sight before ordering else where as just the right component to fix to a thorny problem will often be found for a really good price.
