Voltcraft VC950 Digital Multimeter plus VC511 Clip on Ammeter

The new high performance Voltcraft VC950 logging digitial multimeter for industrial use comes with important additional features, such as a low-pass filter for accurate voltage and frequency measurements on drive controls and other electrical devices whose basic frequency is overlaid by harmonics. The meter measures the true RMS of complex signals or non-linear loads for accurate representation of AC voltage and current. In Relative Mode the readings will automatically be reduced by the cable resistance, particularly useful for low resistance or capacitance measurements.

The multimeter can record up to 20,000 measurements and can be left to operate unattended. The recorded data can then be transferred to a PC easily using the USB interface. With the supplied VoltSoft logging and analysis software you can not only see live readings, but also export them to spreadsheets such as EXCEL® or LibreOffice, and to editable text documents. The meter has many safety and useability features such as the large 5-digit display which is able to simultaneously display several measurements and an automatic backlight to make them readable, even in dark environments. The integrated test lead detection function (TLD®) warns the user if the test leads are connected incorrectly. As an extra safety feature, when connected to input voltages > 30V a warning symbol appears in the display. Supplied with test leads, alligator clips, K-type temperature sensor adaptor, K-type thermocouple sensor, 4 x AA batteries, carrying strap, USB interface cable, VoltSoft analysis software and instructions for use.

The meter is designed for measurements in the category CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V and is approved and tested according to EN-61010.

This meter is also supplied with a VC511 current clamp for measuring AC/DC currents up to 400A. It is safety rated to CAT III 600 V and CAT IV 300 V.
