Voltcraft CM410 Intelligent NiZn Battery Charger for AA and AAA Cells

The Voltcraft CM410 is an Intelligent NiZn Battery Charger for AA and AAA Cells. It has been specifically designed as a charger for NiZN AA/AAA batteries but unlike other NiZn chargers, it also charges regular NiMH and NiCD batteries.

The CM410 automatically detects NiZn batteries and applies a charging current especially developed for their higher voltage. For NiCD and NiMH batteries, 3 charging currents can be set.

This is an intelligent charger with a microprocessor, which controls each charging slot individually, meaning it can carry out 4 different charge, discharge or maintenance functions at once so you can charge batteries of differing makes, sizes, chemistries or capacities simultaneously. The refresh and train maintenance functions bring tired, old batteries back to life and increase the lifetime of all batteries. Weak batteries are easy to detect thanks to accurate capacity measurement and LCD display.

To save energy, once all charging/maintenance tasks are complete, the CM410 reverts to energy saving mode, whereby the charger's energy consumption is significantly reduced but all batteries continue to be monitored for capacity and trickle charge applied should the capacity of a battery begin to fall.
