Q. Hello
Please can you tell me minimum voltage this led will work from as I have a I have a psu giving out 4.7v I am guessing that will light but need it to be seen from a distance just wondered how well it will light.
Thanks for any info on the MIN voltage.
A. Hi Peter, thank you for your question. The minimum is 4.5V so 4.7V should be fine. Please see the data sheet for more information.
Q. HELLO,
DO I HAVE TO PUT A SERIES RESISTOR WITH THIS LED
? MANY THANKS
GEOFFREY FOLKES
A. Hi Geoffrey, thanks for your question. Protective resistors are only required when the supply voltage is greater than the VF or VDD value – in this case, if the supply is between 4.5 and 6V max – then no resistor is required.
