Q. Is this timer suitable for use with a washing machine.y
A. Hi L Wood, thank you for your question. As long as the washing machine does not draw more than 13 amps 3KW appliances up to 400W then the timer would be suitable for this application.

I was a bit dissapointed to find that only 4 push in pegs were provided with this timer because that means that only 2 on / off cycles can be set. Two things against the peg system system. 1. One is limited to the the number of setting periods by the number of pegs available. 2. The tiny pegs can easily get lost. Otherwise this product seems to be of good quality when I would not trust so many of the cheap imported timers available today when used on higher current applications.
