Texas Instruments LM334Z Adjustable Current Source 1-40V 10mA TO92

This is the Texas Instruments LM334Z 3-terminal adjustable current source. The regulator only needs one resistor to set the output current. No seperate power supply connections are needed as this is a true floating current source. It can have up to 20V reverse voltage applied and will act as a rectifier allowing only a few microamps of current o flow. With the addition of another resistor and a diode the regulator operates with zero temperature drift. Applications for the current sources include bias networks, surge protection, low power reference, ramp generation, LED driver, and temperature sensing.
