The Alpha 16mm is practically industry standard in the effects pedal business where size and robustness are key. These are the real deal Taiwan-made variant that have the best action, IMO. I fit these with a plastic dust cap (which you can get separately, but sadly not here), which keeps the dirt out for maximum life. I tend to wire pots off-board, so these solder lug versions are perfect. It'd be great to have log tapers as well, and maybe some solid shaft, but am glad Rapid are selling them here in the UK at a decent price.
