The StarTech.com USB 3.0 to USB B Cables gives you the choice of SuperSpeed or super length. The active cables (19-9213/19-9214) let you position your peripherals where you need them, up to 10 metres away from your computer. Now you can locate USB devices such as portable hard drives and external video capture devices to make better use of your workspace. The cables have a built-in equalizing chip that delivers a reliable connection, with no signal loss, beyond the 3m limit of standard USB 3.0 cables.

The SuperSpeed cables (19-9215/19-9216) offer a throughput of up to 5Gbps when used with a USB 3.0 host and device, a very useful 10 x the capacity of USB 2.0 (480Mbps). They also feature high quality Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) construction, helping to prevent electro-magnetic interference and ensuring reliable data communication.

USB 3.0 is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1 and is capable of 5Gbps data transfers. Backed by StarTech.com’s 2-year warranty.
