A 3.3V 100mA very low drop-out voltage regulator from ST. The very low drop (0.2V) and matching very low ON quiescent current (0.5mA) make this regulator particularly suitable for low noise, low power applications, especially battery powered equipment.
The IC includes internal current and thermal limit and only requires a 2.2µF capacitor for stability.

A. Hi Joshua, thank you for your question. The operating voltage is stated as a maximum 18 volts at 100mA so 5 volts will be fine; please see the data sheet.
