Rapid Mini Hot Plate

This thermostatically-controlled hotplate can be programmed to maintain a steady temperature anywhere between room temperature and 80 °C. It has a variety of applications, including the investigation of the effect of different materials on the rate of energy transfer.

• Thermochromic film (included) on the top plate changes colour as the top plate heats up
• Area of the plate is 5cm square

Requires a regulated 12V power supply with a current rating of at least 2A.
