The Rapid HY1803D is a Digital Single Output Bench DC Power Supply. This is very stable, regulated output DC power supply allowing continuous adjustment of both the output voltage and current levels.

The Power Supply has two LCD displays, allowing the output voltages and currents to be displayed simultaneously.
The voltage and current are variable from 0 to 18V and 0 to 3A for this model.

Applications: Excellent for Schools, Universities, laboratory, science projects or any other use, where stable voltage up to 18V is required.

Nice light duty power supply

Wasn't really expecting much for this sort of money but it's actually rather nice. Both current and voltage are accurate, the ripple is in specification and it's well constructed and fanless. A quick peek inside reveals Rubycon capacitors (!), modular connectors and completely standard parts meaning it's easy to repair if anything does go wrong. A load test for 30 minutes at 2.6A into a resistive load shows no problems at all with an appropriate amount of heat generated as expected.
