This buffer module from PULS has been manufactured to a high standard, with a compact design that is ideal for installation in an enclosure. It is intended for professional use in areas such as industrial control, office, communication, and instrumentation equipment.
The unit can bridge power failures or voltage fluctuations, supplying voltage for a certain period and allowing for a safe shutdown of the system. Expensive downtimes, long restart cycles and loss of data can be avoided.
The unit stores energy in integrated electrolytic capacitors on occasions when the power supply provides sufficient voltages. In case of a mains voltage fault, this energy is released again in a regulated process. The buffer module remains maintenance-free and has a similar lifetime expectancy as a power supply.
