This 0.5A 5W relay is from the Pickering Reed Relays 117 series and comes in a plastic SIL package with an extremely small footprint that takes up the minimum amount of board area, making it ideal for very high density designs, and even making it possible to extend the functionality of existing designs without increasing the size of the PCB.
The relay is encapsulated in a plastic SIL package and has an internal mu-metal magnetic screen that eliminates magnetic interference when relays are stacked in high density designs. Only the highest quality instrument grade switches are used in the construction.
Ideal for low level or 'cold' switching applications in ATE switching matrices or multiplexers.
