A high quality Class 1 laser module that projects a 635nm red beam with a line type beam shape, fan angle of 60° and an operating distance of 2m. The module uses a special acrylic lens that produces a sharp beam without the use of rotating polygonal mirrors or motors. The lens and electronics are built-in to a robust brass housing and can be operated under dusty and harsh industrial environments. Operation is possible without series resistors or control electronics, the module simply being connected to a power supply. Suitable applications include laser levels, laser marking systems, robotics, and laser entertainment areas.
