A high quality Class 2 laser module that projects a 650nm red beam with a dot type beam shape, beam diameter of 3mm and an operating distance of 10m. The module uses a special acrylic lens that produces a sharp beam without the use of rotating polygonal mirrors or motors. The lens and electronics are built-in to a robust brass housing and can be operated under dusty and harsh industrial environments. Operation is possible without series resistors or control electronics, the module simply being connected to a power supply. Suitable applications include laser levels, laser marking systems, robotics, and laser entertainment areas.

Q. Can I control this with an ardunio mini without a relay?
A. Hi Will, thank you for your question. This should be possible; the Arduino mini can output 5V max at 40mA per pin, the laser in question operates between 3-12V at 25 to 30mA so it would be possible.
