Q. What is the difference between a 5v and 12v led? Does it mean that i cant use a 9v battery on the 5v led?
A. Hi, thank you for your question. The main difference is the max working voltage as the 5v will work a maximum of 6 volts and the 12v version will work a maximum of 14 volts. You would be better off using the 12v version as this will work much better at the mentioned 9 volts you have.
