26 July 2017 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 56-0663
Q. I require common anode for my panel, is L-3VEGW -CA anode return? If not can you send me the reference number for red/green 3mm b-icolour LED common anode return
A. Hi Terry, thank you for your question. 56-0663 is a common anode bi colour LED, please see the datasheet for full information.

01 August 2013 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 56-0663
Q. Hi, will the above led fit (50 5122) holders SMQ1069 ? Thanks.
A. Hi Steve. Thank you for your question. This bi-colour LED had three legs and the holder SMQ1069 has a nylon insert with two holes for a standard two legged LED and as such not suitable. I have checked and we do not stock a three legged LED holder.

05 February 2013 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 56-0663
Q. with the above LED having a common anode(+) lead, is only one resistor required to the (+) lead? On common cathode LED(56-0660), are resistors required to each anode lead?
A. Hi Michael. Thank you for your question. Whether common anode or common cathode resistors should be used on all the segment pins. Using one resistor will result in the overall brightness changing depending on how many segments are lit.

27 December 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 56-0663
Q. Building a control panel for a model railway. Require a product that displays a different colour dependent upon the route chosen at a point. It is a digital system, 15 volts (AC) at 3.5 amps. Will this led accommodate this and does it have a built in resistor, if not, which type would I require. Many thanks
A. Hi Peter. Thank you for your question. This does not have a built in resistor and this works on DC voltage so would not be suitable for the application you have mentioned. Something like 500651 would be more suitable.
